Jasmine Nija was born in India in the 2020's. Her lifelong ambition was to join the Ocean Explorers, which she did when she reached the age of 18, when she joined the training acadamy for three years, before becoming a junior officer on board the O.E.S. Dickens, named after the famous English author. Nija rose through the rank on board the 'Dickens' until she recieved a promotion and transfer to a vast operations station submerged in the Indian ocean, near her home. It was here that she first met Angela Kym and Clare Danube. After leaving the station she was given the post of second in command of the O.E.S. Clinton under Captain Pearl. Here she met Officer Laj, who she became romantically envolved with and soon engaged. The two were both promoted just before their proposed wedding date. Nija became captain of the F.S Eternal. On her first mission, the 'Eternal' and all her crew were transported to the planet of Trinal. They stayed on Trinal for many years, before the ship began unrepairably malfunctioning. Nija sent all her crew away in the escape pods except for her, Laj and Angela Kym, who styaed in suspended animation pods. They were woken up nearly one hundre years later when the crew of the 'Planitarium' discovered them. Nija and Laj finally married in 2159 on board the Eternal, shortly before its return to Earth. On returning, Nija was once again promoted to Admiral. She was given command of the Eternal Mk II and fought against the Trimuns in the war.
